As a behavioral sleep medicine specialist and occupational therapist, Dr. Norweg brings over 30 years of clinical, teaching, and research experience to Sleep PhD. Dr. Norweg uses evidence-based approaches to treat the following conditions:

Dr. Norweg has practiced as a clinical occupational therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Rusk Rehabilitation. She is certified in motivational interviewing counseling from the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. She also specializes in mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques and breathing therapy with biofeedback for anxiety and dysfunctional breathing.
Dr. Norweg has received almost 2 million dollars in federal grant funding to conduct research focused on improving breathing, sleep, energy, and well-being in adults with chronic lung disease and long COVID. She is an internationally recognized research scientist and engaging and dynamic lecturer and presenter. She has published over 25 scientific papers and abstracts in peer-reviewed rehabilitation and medical journals.
