Counseling

Sleep PhD provides individual counseling therapy to help our clients become better sleepers. You may benefit from behavioral sleep medicine counseling or cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) if you answer “yes” to any of the following questions.

  • Do you take more than 30 minutes to fall asleep at night?

  • Are you awake for more than 30 minutes during the night?

  • Do you wake up earlier than you would like?

  • Do you have impaired daytime functioning related to your night-time sleep difficulty?

  • Does your sleep problem and related daytime symptoms happen at least three times per week?

  • Have your sleep problems persisted for at least 3 months?

Sleep PhD also counsels and supports parents with young children on sleep training for bedtime struggles, bedtime fears, nap problems, and night awakenings.
